About One Acre Fund

Founded in 2006, One Acre Fund supplies 1 million smallholder farmers with the agricultural services they need to make their farms vastly more productive. We provide quality farm supplies on credit, delivered within walking distance of farmers’ homes, and agricultural training to improve harvests. We measure our success by our ability to make farmers more prosperous: On average, farmers harvest 50 percent more food after working with One Acre Fund.

Job Description

We are looking for a Rural Retail Systems supervisor with experience in data and people management, and processes execution. You will oversee the implementation of Rural Retail Systems operations in the Partner-Shops project. This work will help the team to get the information they need to do their job, keep a good relationship with our partners, and excellently serve our farmers. Partner-shops is a fast-growing project which creates diverse learning and career development opportunities for its members.

You will:

• Lead/oversee the implementation of our data collection and data entry processes.
• Ensure that we have complete and accurate data for partnership balance payment calculations.
• Coordinate with the Execution team to ensure that our casuals are being paid.
• Handle requests for additional information required by the Field Team to conduct their operations.
• Support the Field Team to troubleshoot their tech tools basic issues.

You will report directly to the Rural Retail Systems Coordinator and manage 2-3 data entry officers.

Qualifications

• Data management experience, at least 6 months.
• People management experience, at least 1 direct report.
• Experience working with project’s main partners.
• English and Kinyarwanda are required languages.

Preferred Start Date

Due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, start dates can vary significantly by role. We are adapting rapidly to Covid-19 and most of our team is now working remotely. Given the changing environment, we will appreciate your flexibility in confirming a start date.”
