Title: Product Manager – Last Mile Logistics

Reports to: Product Manager – Pulse

Location: Kigali, Rwanda

Role Purpose

As the Product Manager for Last Mile Logistics (LML), you will be responsible for the “physical highway”: designing and implementing software solutions within Bboxx’s Pulse Platform to help NGUs deliver to and service hard-to-reach customers.
You will serve as a bridge between end customers, users and software teams: understanding business problems, designing processes and user interfaces.
This is a highly cross-functional role, working with other APMs, Product Owners, Software, Supply Chain and Accounting teams.

About the role

Create and communicate vision for Last Mile Logistics (LML).

Understand business challenges and develop business cases for change, quantifying likely impact and prioritizing projects.

Work cross-functionally to integrate LML into other processes.

Run focus groups, design workshops and interviews to identify pain points.

Work closely with Hardware Product team to understand how processes need to be adapted.

Ensure all logistics and technical service dashboards clearly communicate issue to users.

Design and develop software product improvements, ensuring that Pulse operations platform provides relevant information to the Supply Chain and Accounting systems to value inventory and prevent fraud.

Write clear design documents and requirements for the Engineering team

Field App: responsible for the overall design of the Field App used by Sales Agents and Technicians, with focus on usage by technicians

Technical Service & Alerts: tools for diagnosing product faults in the field or in shops/service centres and providing customers with replacements or repairs – including alerts based on remote monitoring data

About you

University degree, preferably in Business, Supply Chain, or Engineering
2-5 years’ product management, consulting, or process optimization, preferably in the logistics industry

Experience working with cross-cultural/functional teams

Fluency in English

Experience in off-grid solar beneficial

Fluency in French beneficial

Familiarity with Agile project management framework

Experience with Human-Centred Design
