CONCERN WORLDWIDE BURUNDI (CWB)

CALL FOR APPLICATIONS (M/F)

Concern Worldwide is launching a call for applications for the position of MEAL Manager Burundi – Rwanda.

This position will be based in Bujumbura

Concern has a Safeguarding Policy which encompasses the Concern Code of Conduct (CCoC), Program Participant Protection Policy (P4), Child Protection Policy and Anti-Human Trafficking Policy . These policies have been developed to ensure maximum protection of program participants from exploitation and to clarify the responsibilities of Concern staff, consultants, program visitors, partner organizations on the expected standards of behavior. In this context, staff have a responsibility to the organization to seek and maintain the highest standards of daily behavior in their workplace, in accordance with Concern’s values ​​and mission. Any candidate recruited by Concern Worldwide will be required to sign the Concern Code of Conduct and associated policies which are annexed to their employment contract. By signing the Concern Code of Conduct, applicants acknowledge that they have understood the contents of the Concern Code of Conduct and associated policies and agree to behave in accordance with the provisions of these policies.

Accountability

In line with Concern’s commitment to the Core Humanitarian Standard of Quality and Accountability (CHS):

  • Actively promote meaningful community participation and consultation at all stages of the project cycle (planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation);
  • Work with colleagues to ensure that our Complaint and Response Mechanism (CRM) is functional and accessible, that feedback and complaints are welcomed and addressed;
  • Work with colleagues to ensure information about CRM, safeguarding and expected behavior of Concern staff is disseminated to program participants and communities.
