Rwanda Red Cross

In Rwanda, the ICRC works to promote IHL and its incorporation into legislation, works with the Rwandan Red Cross to reunite children with their families and restore family links, and helps the National Society expand its response capacity.
Established in July 1962, Rwanda Red Cross is a humanitarian organization that acts auxiliary to public authorities as envisaged in the Geneva Conventions that provide for the establishment of such societies in every signatory country.
