Job Description 

As a Generalist Back-End Developer, you will join our core technical team. Your role will be to design, develop, and stabilize the logic engines, microservices, and APIs that power all of our product lines. 

You will be joining an agile, multi-project environment where versatility, autonomy, and technical pragmatism are valued. Without being confined to a single area, you will be involved across the full breadth of our service catalog (administrative management, synchronization with physical terminals, back offices, etc.). 

Responsibilities and job description 

• Development & Evolution of features:  Design and implement robust new business features in NestJS for our various applications (management back offices, POS applications, Kiosk business logic). 
• Data architecture:  Modeling, administering and optimizing our PostgreSQL databases to ensure platform fluidity and multi-site data consistency. 
• Asynchronous task management:  Ensure the processing of queues, background workflows and scheduled tasks using the BullMQ and Redis combination. 
• Interoperability:  Connecting and enabling communication between our different application modules (for example, linking central administration to Capacitor webapps or on-site terminals). 
• Quality & Reliability:  Maintain a high level of technical requirements through the writing of automated tests (Jest) and monitoring of deployments. 
• Cross-functional collaboration:  Actively participate in the life of the team (cross-code reviews under Jira, agile rituals) and regularly exchange with Front-End and Mobile developers.

Qualifications / abilities 

Required technical skills: 

• Solid mastery of  Node.js, NestJS and TypeScript . 
• Good practical experience with  PostgreSQL  (TypeORM). 
• Basic knowledge of queue tools ( BullMQ / Redis ) for task management. 
• Proficiency in standard development workflows ( Git , Pull Requests). • Familiarity with  Docker  or hybrid app integration ( Capacitor ) is a plus. 

General skills: 

• Fluency in  French  and/or  English is essential  . Fluency in the other language is an asset. 
• Versatility and mental agility  to easily switch from one project or functional topic to another. 
• Customer service/merchant focus  : understanding the concrete impact of your code on the ground. 
• Initiative and collaborative spirit  to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team. 

Languages ​​required

• French: fluency required (written and spoken). 
• English: fluent is an asset (written and spoken). 

Experience : 

• Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in Back-End development (ideally in the SaaS, retail, B2B management or e-commerce sectors).
