The Management of Rutongo Mines Ltd informs the public that it is recruiting Competent, Qualified and    Experienced staff for the following positions:

Forklift Driver (1 Position)

Position/Job Title: Forklift  Driver

Job Grade: C1

Department :  Engineering

Reports To: Mechanical –Maintenance Supervisor

Job Brief: Loading and unloading materials from one place to the assigned places; and in compliance with the Company’s warehouse workflow.

Responsibilities: The Forklift Operator/ Driver has   the following responsibilities and duties:

Loading, unloading materials from incoming vehicles and stocking them to assigned places.

Locating and moving stock of products to pallets or crates storage or shipment.

iii. Optimizing loads to ensure operational efficiency.

1. Identifying damages to the Machine and report to the Superior.
2. Ensuring the machine is operated safely so as not to injure anyone or cause damage anything
3. Ensures the machine is kept in a safe and clean condition.

vii. Comply with Health and Safety policies and procedures.

viii. To be timeous on tasks and be present on job.

1. To be vigilant at all times.
2. Comply with all other Company Policies and Procedures.
3. Perform any other duties related to your field of as may be assigned by Management.

Job Requirements: The Forklift Operator/ Driver should have the following education, experience and skills:

1. A Holder of Category F driving license.
2. Skills and knowledge of the machine and other heavy machines.
3. Experience of 2 years or more in operating a Forklift.
4. Professionalism, positive attitude and  Excellent communication skills
5. Punctuality and time management skills.
6. Strong Work Ethics and a   Team Player.
