Job Title: Daycare (Creche) Head Teacher

About the Role:
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Early Childhood professional to lead and manage our daycare centre. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in caring for and educating children aged 6 months to 2 years, and be passionate about early childhood development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operations of the daycare centre
• Supervise and support daycare staff
• Plan and implement age-appropriate learning and care activities
• Ensure a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for infants and toddlers
• Monitor children’s development and provide feedback to parents
• Maintain records and reports for each child
• Ensure hygiene, safety, and regulatory standards are met

Requirements:

• Degree in Early Childhood Development (mandatory)
• Proven experience working in a daycare (Creche) setting with children aged 6 months to 2 years (mandatory)
• Fluent in English (spoken and written)
• Strong organizational and leadership skills
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, email, record-keeping)
• Patient, caring, and attentive to children’s needs
• Willingness to relocate to Gashora

Working Hours:

Monday to Saturday

Salary:

Starting salary: 300,000-350,000 RWF
