COMMUNICATION OFFICER RECRUITMENT NOTICE

The CEJP informs the public that it would like to recruit a communications officer, who will have the task of supporting its internal and external communications strategies, drafting and disseminating publicity material and coordinating the promotional events of the institution.

The interested candidate should be able to think creatively and have excellent communication and public relations skills.

   Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with management to develop and implement an effective communication strategy.
• Write, edit and distribute content, including publications, press releases; feed the institution’s website and other platforms, annual reports, speeches and other marketing materials aimed at the visibility of the CEJP.
• Establish and maintain effective relations with the media especially the Catholic media and maintain a database on the media.
• Maintain media coverage records and gather analysis and metrics.
• Maintain the CEJP archives and ensure their updating

Conditions:

• Have a bachelor’s degree (A0) in communication, journalism or a related field.
• Knowledge of publishing software (Adobe In Design / Adobe Audition, Adobe premiere pro, Adobe Photoshop).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, content management systems and social media platforms.
• Excellent oral and written skills in French, English and Kinyarwanda.
• Have a home in the city of Kigali
• Having experience in communication and being of the Catholic faith would be an asset.
