RwandAir Catering Ltd is a fast growing In-flight Catering Company in Rwanda that started its operations from August 2014 and is providing catering services to scheduled airlines, private jet and charters. RwandAir Catering Ltd aims to be one of the biggest aviation catering company in Africa in few years to come.

As part of this strategy we are looking for interested, qualified, committed, and competent candidate to fill the position mentioned below. Temporary staff for CHOGM.

1. Job title: Cleaning Assistant (5 positions) 

Department: Quality Assurance                    

Reports to: Quality Assurance Supervisor

Reporting Line Manager: Quality Assurance Manager

 Major responsibilities.

1. Ensuring that all offices, canteen, washing and changing rooms are kept clean and cleaning records plus cleaning schedules forms are filled correctly.

2. Cleaning and disinfecting the entire Catering Unit and ensuring that the Production area is entirely clean according to schedules or programs.
3. Ensuring that clean as you go procedure is maintained for the entire building.
4. Making sure that all cleaning chemicals and materials are kept clean and safe at the end of each shift.
5. Ensuring that the requisition of cleaning materials and chemicals is done according to Company’s requisition procedures.
6. Maintaining Health and Safety at the workplace.
7. Adherence to the Company’s Hygiene and food Safety requirements.

Knowledge, skills, and experience.

• A Level Certificate
• Training Certificate in cleaning
• 1 year experience in cleaning

Prerequisites:      

• Physically fit for the job
• Be able to work at night.
