CASHIER (ERE)

You have a taste for challenges, a real commitment to development and a deep sensitivity towards vulnerable people in general and disabled people in particular, then this recruitment notice concerns you!

Handicap International Federation, which implements its programs under its operational name “Humanity & Inclusion” is recruiting for its program  a cashier  as part of a salaried position on an open-ended contract, with a period of 3 month trial.

DESCRIPTION OF THE FUNCTION  

Under the direct responsibility of the Financial Manager, the Program Cashier manages, anticipates and secures cash flows while ensuring that financial needs are covered. He / she is responsible for the application and respect of the standards of the organization and the regulatory framework of the country in his perimeter of cash management and support for audits.

 EXPECTED PROFILE

 

Wish

Diploma (s)  :
  • Hold a license (A0) in accounting or economic management or related fields.  

Experiences  :
  • Minimum of 4 years experience as a cashier
  • Have experience in NGOs
  •  Have worked at the cash desk / or in accounting

Skills :
  • Ability to adapt and open-mindedness
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to write reports in French and English.
  •  Excellent remote coordination and negotiation skills
  •   Problem solving and ability to work under pressure.
  •   Good command of Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Personal qualities  :
  • Relational
  •   Maturity
  • Reliability and seriousness.
  • Dynamic, autonomous, patient, flexible and communicative.
  •  Respect of deadlines
  •  Tact and diplomacy.
  • Transparency

The application must be composed  of a letter of motivation  addressed to the Country Director ai of the Handicap International Federation in Rwanda, accompanied  by the contact details of 3 professional references ,  certificates of services rendered ,  a detailed Curriculum Vitae  and  a copy of each diploma . Complete application files must be submitted no later than  September 16, 2021 at midnight  to the following email:
