RECRUITMENT NOTICE

Prince Investment Ltd (PI Ltd) is a Private Limited Liability Company.

It is established for an unlimited period; and its head office is established in Kigali, City of Kigali, District of Kcukiro, Sector of Gikondo

The purpose of PI Ltd is to carry out all commercial, financial, industrial, movable or real estate transactions relating directly or indirectly to the promotion of education in Rwanda.

PI Ltd may also take an interest, in Rwanda and abroad, by way of contribution, merger, subscription or in any other way, in all companies, associations or companies having a similar, analogous or related object, or likely to promote the development of society.

It is in this context that PI Ltd would like to recruit an accountant with the main objective of keeping the accounts up to date and whose responsibilities and profile are indicated below:

A.     RESPONSIBILITIES

• Make the accounting, analytical, budgetary allocations,
• Regularly update the accounting documents (journals and accounting books) according to the defined system and keep computerized accounts using the sage saari 100 software, giving details for each category of expenditure (Entering financial and accounting transactions exhaustively in the respective newspapers);
• Maintain the cash book and bank book by sage saari 100 software;
• Prepare requests for withdrawals of funds and all necessary documentation;
• Prepare checks and transfer orders for payment of supplier invoices;
• Organize the accounts in accordance with legal, contractual and customary provisions;
• Ensure budget monitoring;
• Manage financial memory (archives and electronics);
• Produce the financial report of the activities on time;
• Prepare the various declarations: VAT, RSSB, PTR, payroll, annual financial statements
• Control purchase requisitions, invoices and refunds
• Supervise all payments and make daily payments
• Supervise inventory management
• Prepare financial forecasts
• Analyze income, expenses, cash flow and balance sheets.
• Ensure the implementation of all other tasks in connection with the position entrusted to him by the hierarchy
• Give the monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and annual report
• Do any task entrusted to him by his hierarchical authority

B. Profile and Required Experience  

The Wanted candidate must meet the following criteria: 

Hold a bachelor’s degree in accounting, financial management, economics;

• Have a Confirmed Professional experience of at least 3 years in the keeping of journals, accounting books in an accounting department and preparation of monthly bank reconciliations;
• Have a mastery of accounting software; knowledge of sage saari 100 and quick books software would be an asset;
• Computer skills in MS (Word, Excel, internet) would be required;
• Have a good knowledge of French, English and Kinyarwanda (written and spoken)
• Have a sense of human relations and a spirit of teamwork and under pressure;
• Have professional and moral integrity.
