RECRUITMENT NOTICE
The COPEDU PLC invites interested candidates to apply for the following positions:
3. ACCOUNTANT
GENERAL DESCRIPTIONS
The Accountant records each financial movement made, in order to establish the financial statements of COPEDU Plc. He ensures the reliability of the accounting allocation and the calculation of all charges and income. It thus contributes to optimizing performance and creating dashboards which will serve as the basis for any decision-making.
DESCRIPTION OF TASKS
- Maintain the accounts of COPEDU Plc;
- Ensure the classification of accounting documents;
- Periodically produce the financial statements of COPEDU Plc;
- Register payrolls in the system;
- Check, record and perform accounting controls on all accounts and resolve exceptions and anomalies;
- Perform bank account reconciliations, reconcile weekly banking transactions and resolve exceptions and anomalies;
- Keep the institution’s asset inventory files up to date and keep the fixed assets register;
- Ensure the seizure of documents until the production of the monthly, quarterly and annual reports required by the COPEDU Plc and the BNR;
- Enter, verify, declare and pay all tax and social declarations of the COPEDU Plc;
- Work with internal and external auditors to correct accounting errors;
- Work with the treasury manager to manage the current cash flow (forecast management, relationship with banks, etc.);
- Save invoices for local and foreign purchases;
- Perform all other similar tasks entrusted to him by his superiors.
PROFILE AND REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Be between 25 and 35 years old;
- Degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics;
- Have a CPA or ACCA certificate;
- At least 3 years of experience as an accountant;
- Mastery of the finance environment and knowledge of national and international banking standards;
- Good knowledge of the financial sector (of MFIs);
- Knowledge and mastery of financial instruments;
- Know how to analyze, synthesize and organize;
- Ability to work under pressure;
- Ability to analyze, interpret, and conceptualize quantified data;
- Integrity and ethics.
