Unguka Bank Plc is seeking to recruit an Accountant with integrity and who is results-oriented. The position is based in Kigali at Unguka Bank Plc Head Office. Below are the job description and Qualifications:

3. Knowledge, Skills, and Experience Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Management, Finance and Banking.
  •  Pursuing a professional course (ACCA/CPA) is a must.
  • Good understanding of banking operations, practices, and procedures.
  • Good attention to detail and accuracy
  •  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  •  Proficient with MS Excel, MS Word

4. Key Duties and responsibilities

  • Daily follow-up of accounting and tax matters,
  • Monitor budget execution regularly and report to his/her supervisor,
  • Daily follow-up and close monitoring of accounts/GL reconciliation,
  • Assist in daily treasury functions,
  • Perform the bank account reconciliations,
  • Ensure that the accounting documents are correctly filed,
  •  Prepare the financial commitments of the bank and pay the bank suppliers
  • Assist in any other finance duties assigned to him/her.
