BRAC Rwanda Microfinance Company PLC is registered with Rwanda Development Board in September 2018 and was approved license from the National Bank of Rwanda to operate Microfinance and other financial services in Rwanda. BRAC Rwanda is looking for competent, dynamic and self-motivated Rwandans to fill the following regular position.
Job Location: BRAC Rwanda Country Office
Salary Range: Negotiable
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work closely with country leadership and field-level staff to manage the implementation of Social Performance Management (SPM)
- Conduct the social audit assessments quarterly using SPI tool
- Conduct regular orientation and training for MF staff to build internal capacity to implement USSPM at all levels of the operation, the Client Protection Principles (CPP)
- Improve practices to achieve compliance targets
- Use and update tools on an ongoing basis to track improved performance and
- Help prepare regular progress reports.
- Manage social outreach and outcome data and reporting – poverty and rural outreach and social outcomes.
- Plan, implement and manage new MF programmatic projects (either initiated by programme or fundraising affiliate) – ensure projects are strategically aligned with BI MF strategic priority areas and USSPM (Design products, services, and delivery channels that meet clients ‘needs and preferences) and define project budget accordingly.
- Develop comprehensive new MF project plans to be shared with senior leadership.
- Manage client-centric product innovation activities, design, and implementation for target segments.
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation: project objectives and lessons l
- Know customer needs through research and market data (either facilitated internally or with external consultants/experts).
Knowledge, Skill & Competence
- Outstanding communication, presentation and writing skills in English
- Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated to learn and take ownership of responsibilities
- Excellent decision-making and project management and planning capabilities.
- Detail-oriented; excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Knowledge of microfinance operations preferred
- Creative thinker with a vision.
- Able to tolerate stress.
- Strong passion for social change for people living in the bottom of the pyramid
Educational Qualifications: Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Business Studies or Development studies.
Experience: Minimum two years of experience in any microfinance operations or banking sector
