We are recruiting a Senior Consultant – Education Economist to join our Consultancy Team within the Strategic Growth Function. Due to the flexible nature of this role, we are inviting applicants who would be willing to commit for a 3, 6 or 12 month fixed-term contract.

They pursue, design, manage and deliver strategic opportunities in our core areas of expertise that help us achieve our charitable mission to transform lives by improving education around the world. They are pro-active in identifying and pursuing new business, they are highly skilled in problem solving and solution design and are adaptable to different contexts, clients and changing circumstances. They are outstanding communicators with excellent writing skills, able to engage and build rapport with clients, partners and other stakeholders in person and remotely. They live and breathe our core methods and contribute to continuously developing and improving them as we learn from our programmes and the wider evidence base.

– strong technical knowledge of education data systems in a range of markets.
– a degree level qualification (or equivalent experience) in Mathematics or Economics, or another related field.
– extensive experience of planning, monitoring, evaluation and data analysis
– knowledge of education financing including programme costing, value for money (VfM) and cost-benefit analysis.
– demonstrable experience of economic quantitative and qualitative research analysis in the education sector.
– professional experience in consultancy, professional services, programme management, relevant business development or education management environment
