Job Description: Sales Executive Jargo Rwanda Limited

Position: Sales Executive (2 positions)

Location: Kigali, Rwanda

Jagro Rwanda Limited, a foreign direct investment firm, has started to play a pivotal role in Rwanda’s agricultural sector. Specializing in cultivating and exporting premium strawberries, Jagro Rwanda upholds a legacy of operational excellence and sustainability inherited from its parent company in Sri Lanka. Renowned for its commitment to quality, the company is dedicated to contributing significantly to Rwanda’s agriculture by bringing forth sustainable farming practices and operational expertise. In light of the above, Jagro Rwanda Ltd is seeking employ qualified, interested and motivated candidates to work as Sales Executives.

Responsibilities:

  1. Business Development:
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the modern trade and B2B sales sector.
    • Build and maintain relationships with key clients to achieve sales targets.
  2. Sales Strategy:
    • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth.
    • Collaborate with the Operations team to meet and exceed sales targets.
  3. Market Analysis:
    • Conduct market research to identify trends, competition, and opportunities.
    • Provide insights to enhance product positioning and marketing strategies.
  4. Client Engagement:
    • Provide exceptional customer service and address client inquiries.
  5. Export Portfolio Management:
    • Manage the export portfolio for fresh produce.
    • Coordinate with logistics and ensure timely delivery of export orders.
  6. Day to Day Sales Operations:
    • Order Taking
    • Route Planning
    • Sales invoice raising
    • GRN Collection
    • Cash Collection On time
  7. Reporting:
  • Prepare daily sales reports and presentations for management.
  • Provide feedback on market trends and competitor activities.
  • Conversant in working with an ERP System

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year in Modern Trade B2B sales.
  • Skills:
    • Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
    • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
    • Familiarity with export processes for fresh produce (added advantage).
  • Availability: Immediate availability preferred.
