Notice of tender

As part of the implementation of the project “Integral Health Support to the District of Gakenke, Sectors Nemba, Karambo and Kamubuga 2020-2022-Rwanda, Medicus Mundi Navarra Aragon Madrid, an International Non-Governmental Organization whose national headquarters are in Nemba in the District of Gakenke, is launching a call for tenders for the recruitment of a Doctor with a Masters in Public Health for the post of Public Health Doctor in charge of “in situ” support at the Nemba Hospital and the 3 CS project partners (CS Nemba, CS Karambo and CS Kamubuga). 

Applicants for this position must meet the following criteria: 

• Hold a doctorate in medicine with a master’s degree in public health;
• Have a valid authorization to practice as a Doctor in Rwanda;
• Have a good command of the Rwanda health system;
• Have at least 3 years of experience as a general practitioner in District Hospitals and / or experience in public health projects (technical assistance to the teams of Health Unit and Supervisors of health centers);
• Have a good command of new information technologies (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and communication tools;
• Have the capacity for organization, analysis and strong autonomy. Ability for teamwork and interpersonal relationships.
• Mastery of treatment protocols and guidelines applied in Rwanda
• Perfect command of Kinyarwanda, French and English written and spoken.
• Good oral and written expression skills.
• Ability to travel for field work and
• Be free from any commitment to start work immediately.
