Project Manager – (Fluent in French)

What to expect?                        

As a Project Manager,  you will implement Odoo . You will be in direct contact with customers to help them use the Odoo software (eCommerce, Manufacturing, Inventory, Project, Website…) properly. You will therefore analyze their needs and organize personalized training sessions. In fact, you will be responsible for providing the best management solution to your customers!

As a  Project Manager , you will also support the growth of our partner network.  You will help and coach our partners , all over Africa, to implement their customers’ projects and become Odoo experts.

As a  Project Manager , you will have the opportunity to  develop larger accounts (Medium Market & Corporate) . You will deal with companies of 100 employees and manage larger and long-term projects. The goal is always to implement our software and provide tailor-made training. You could evolve as a project manager on large-scale projects!

You will work on different projects at the same time. From the first weeks, you will be quickly involved in your first projects with the support of more experienced colleagues. You will gradually increase your level of autonomy, but never forget that two heads are better than one! You will not have time to get bored because each project is different (sector, scope of the projects, etc.)

Responsibilities

Project implementation (80%)

  • Gain the trust of your customers
  • Analyze customer needs and propose solutions
  • Implement agreed solutions (configuration and development)

Making your customer/partner an Odoo champion (training)

  • Monitor the project and communicate on its status and current tasks
  • Organize and track Odoo implementations
  • Internal improvements (20%)
  • Product feedback to R&D
  • Coaching and training
  • Feedback for departmental improvement purposes

REQUIRED PROFILE

  • Minimum 1 year of experience
  • Fluency in  English and French
  • Fast learning
  • Multi-tasking and organizational skills
  • Good communication
  • Autonomous, Assertive and Proactive
  • Affinity with the world of IT
  • Work permit for Kenya (or being part of the East African Community – EAC)

LITTLE EXTRA

  • Knowledge of Swahili or other regional or international languages
  • Experience in implementing management software
  • Accounting expertise
  • Technical knowledge (XML, Python, JS)
