ATLANTIC MICROFINANCE Plc, the subsidiary of ATLANTIC MICROFINANCE FOR AFRICA (AMIFA) invites interested candidates to apply for the position of Operations Manager .
Job title : Operations Manager
Reporting line: Chief Executive Officer
General description :
Under the supervision of the general management, the Operations Manager monitors the qualitative and quantitative objectives of the ATLANTIQUE MICROFINANCE Plc network and assists it while making sure to provide it with the necessary management applications.
Description of tasks :
- Monitor the achievement of the qualitative and quantitative objectives of the network.
- Provide support to the network to achieve its objectives
- Develop new products in consultation with the Marketing team.
- Oversee the processing of complaints.
- Lead all projects for which the Operations Function is requested.
- Participate in consultation with the HR function in the internal or external recruitment of network personnel.
- Provide staff training on products and marketing procedures.
- Improve and update operational procedures.
- Regularly evaluate the results obtained both individually and collectively and measure the differences.
- Determine training needs and assess the impact on the team’s skills.
- Implement the human resources and material means necessary for the accomplishment of the missions and attributions of the Function in compliance with the recommendations of the components of the internal regulatory system.
Profile and qualifications required
- Have at least a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics or Business Management.
- Have at least 6 years of experience in sales, marketing or customer management including at least 3 years of experience in a similar position, preferably in Microfinance.
- Strong leadership, management, supervisory and interpersonal skills.
- Good knowledge of the market and the sector of activity.
- Have a taste for marketing and great ability to mobilize resources.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (in French, English, and Kinyarwanda).
- Have knowledge in product development and negotiation skills.
- Creative, innovative, visionary.
- Project management skills.
- Leadership ability.
- Integrity and ethics.
