VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT

Africa Humanitarian Action (AHA) is an international humanitarian non-governmental organisation providing effective humanitarian assistance to alleviate human suffering. AHA has been operating building on the strength of African people to solve African problems for the past 25 years.  AHA in partnership with the Government of Rwanda, (MINEMA) & UNHCR provides Primary Health Care, Nutrition and HIV/AIDS services to refugees residing in Kiziba,  Kigeme and Mugombwa camps, urban refugees in Kigali, for Rwandan Returnees in two Transit Centres, Kijote and Nyarushishi and two Reception Centres (Bugesera and Nyanza). AHA currently wants to employ qualified and motivated personnel for the following position:

Nutrition Coordinator ( 1 Post)

Working area: AHA Mugombwa

Requirements:

• 3 Years experience in Nutrition Field
• Must have work experience in nutrition activities, having worked in a refugee setting is an added value;
• Deep knowledge of Nutrition protocols, standards, and procedures;
• Strong practical experience in training facilitation;
• Enhancing food and nutrition security;
• Excellent Communication, Organizational, Interpersonal, Good Observational, Analytical and problem-solving skills;
• Ethical Professional Practice;
• Fluent in Kinyarwanda, English and/ or French, Knowledge of all is an advantage.

Educational Requirements:

A0 in Human Nutrition, Dietetics, Or Food Science

Starting date: As soon as possible

Period: One year renewable

Required: Rwandan Nationality

For this post, working experience with NGOs interacting with refugees or displaced population is an added value.
