The Belgian School of Kigali is an international private school. It has existed for over 55 years. Created by Belgian cooperation, it is now managed by an NGO under Rwandan law. It is mainly financed by the school fees paid by the parents. All sections follow the programs of the Wallonia-Brussels Federation. The school receives periodic inspection, and its diplomas are recognized by the Federation. Thus, its historical links with Belgium are maintained.

Job description  :

Ensure the permanence of the infirmary:

• Welcoming sick students
• Call parents if needed
• Track vaccination records
• Provide basic care with the authorization of the order of nurses
• Prepare reports on covid-19 and other diseases

Operational know-how 

• Excellent oral and written expression. Fluency in French is essential; knowledge of English is an asset.
• Mastery of office tools (word, excel, powerpoint, etc.) and communication methods (telephone, emails, etc.) 
• Organizational ability 
• Ability to work in a team and manage stress.

Behavioral skills 

• Discretion, sense of confidentiality 
• Good relationship, good presentation 
• Good communication and social skills
• Strong organizational skills, rigor and method 
• Good ability to withstand stress

Candidate profile

• Hold an A0 diploma in nursing.
• Have a recognized experience of at least five years in the field;
