Managing Director of BROTHER’S VENTURE (BV) Ltd

Background:

BROTHER’S VENTURE (BV) Ltd is a registered start-up construction company based in Kigali, Rwanda. The company is planning to provide a range of construction services, including design, engineering, and construction management, to perspectives clients across the country.

Purpose:

The purpose of this recruitment is to identify and select a highly qualified and experienced Managing Director who will be responsible for the overall management of the company. The successful candidate will lead the company’s growth strategy and ensure that the business operates efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities:

The Managing Director will have the following responsibilities:

• Develop and implement the company’s strategic plan, in collaboration with the Board of Directors
• Provide leadership and guidance to the management team.
• Ensure the company operates in compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
• Manage the company’s financial performance and oversee budget planning and implementation.
• Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders in the construction industry.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure effective management of the company’s resources.
• Report regularly to the Board of directors on the company’s performance and progress toward its strategic goals

Qualifications and Experience:

The ideal candidate should have the following qualifications and experience:

• Master’s degree in business administration/ Accounting and Finance, or a related field
• 7+ years of experience, including at least 3 years in a senior leadership position.
• Experience in managing financial performance and budgets.
• Proven experience in developing and implementing successful growth strategies.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Familiarity with the construction industry in Rwanda

Reporting:

The Managing Director will report directly to the Board of directors.

Terms of Appointment:

The Managing Director will be appointed for an initial term of one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to performance.
