Two Junior consultants

Location: Muhanga, Southern province

Two national junior consultants we are looking for has excellent communication skills, have experience working in the agricultural sector especially with cooperatives and farmers organizations. You are experienced in processing and analyzing farmers working conditions and flexibility is your nature. You are a team player with a positive and critical attitude, also with regard to your own work. Our ideal candidate has experience in the provision of advisory services. You will work with a team of business advisors.

Activities:

  • Support INGABO Syndicate in the follow up on cassava, banana, and horticulture FFS demo plots established in the assigned area,
  • Coaching and advising farmers on GAP,
  • Provide business, financial management, and governance advisory services to cooperatives in the assigned area of work,
  • Creating synergies through follow up with Horticultural cooperatives in Muhanga, Karongi, Ngororero, and Rutsiro,
  • Provide monthly progress reports to the direct supervisor,
  • Perform any other duty as assigned.

What do you offer?

  • At least a Bachelor’s degree in agribusiness, economics, and related subjects,
  • Excellent computer skills,
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent reporting skills
  • Experience in cooperative scopings and assessments,
  • Excellent knowledge of Kinyarwanda French and English languages,
  • Available for 36 hours a week until 15 December 2020,
  • Accurate advisory skills with an eye for detail.
