POSITION: Finance and Admin Associate
LOCATION: Fair View Building, 1st floor, Kimihurura, Kigali – Rwanda
REPORTS TO: Senior Accounting Manager

Inkomoko Entrepreneur Development is a full-service business development firm focused on growing small to medium enterprises. Our services help our clients develop and improve their capacity. Founded in 2012, Inkomoko identifies entrepreneurs in Rwanda and provides them with business education, mentorship, and strategy consulting, so that they can grow their businesses and create jobs for others.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
You will be answerable to the Senior Accounting Manager for the performance of your duties. Your duties will include the following:
BOOK KEEPING AND FINANCE (90%)
Book keeping and recording transactions in the accounting software
- Petty cash Management
- Maintain filing systems for revenues and expenses
- Preparing payment requests
- Bank deposits and check book requests
- Monthly accounts reconciliation
- Provide assistance in bank reconciliations
- Preparation for annual company audit
- Support coordination with AEC Rwanda Trustee Loan program
- Provide support to the Senior Accounting Manager, Director of Finance & Administration and other Company Management.
- Phone credit Management
GENERAL ADMINISTRATION (10%)
- Clerical duties including filing and photocopying
- Collecting supporting documents from staff and suppliers
- Provide support to the Administration Manager in preparation for the Annual Staff retreat

- 3+ years of work experience in relevant or applicable field

- Strong accounting skills and financial policies
- Excellent computer skills, especially with MS Excel and Word
- Good written and oral communications skill
- Fluent in written and spoken English, French, and Kinyarwanda
