Job Summary:

The Electrical Supervisor will oversee the on-site installation, inspection, and management of electrical systems for construction projects. This includes ensuring quality, safety, and compliance with project specifications. The Electrical Supervisor will coordinate with contractors, site engineers, and project teams to ensure timely delivery of electrical works while maintaining high standards of execution.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Site Supervision:

• Supervise and monitor the installation of electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, and control systems, ensuring alignment with design specifications.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality, progress, and compliance with safety standards.
• Coordinate and manage site activities related to electrical works to maintain smooth workflow.

2. Quality Assurance and Compliance:

• Ensure all electrical works comply with relevant codes and standards, such as NEC and IEEE.
• Inspect and verify materials and equipment delivered to the site for quality and adherence to project requirements.

3. Coordination and Communication:

• Collaborate with MEP teams, subcontractors, and site personnel to address on-site challenges and ensure integration with other project systems.
• Report progress, issues, and resolutions to the project management team regularly.

4. Testing and Handover:

• Assist in the testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of electrical systems to ensure proper functionality.
• Ensure all installations meet performance and safety criteria before final handover.

5. Safety and Risk Management:

• Enforce strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental protocols on-site.
• Conduct toolbox talks and ensure workers follow safety procedures and use appropriate PPE.

6. Documentation and Reporting

• Maintain daily site activity logs, including progress reports and issues encountered.
• Support the preparation of as-built drawings and handover documentation.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in electrical supervision, preferably in the construction industry.
• Hands-on experience with power distribution, lighting systems, and electrical installations.
• Strong knowledge of electrical codes and standards such as NEC and IEEE.
• Excellent problem-solving and leadership skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings accurately.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
