MASS is seeking a full-time Designer to join our team our landscape team in Kigali.

MASS seeks to create innovative design approaches that improve people’s lives in measurable ways. We create environments that promote health and dignity. Throughout the construction process, we collaborate with the communities our buildings will serve, approaching every project as a chance to invest in their future. Our work has expanded to over a dozen countries in Africa and the Americas with a portfolio of design services that spans architectural design, master planning, landscape architecture, engineering, and strategic planning. This person will work collaboratively and across disciplines to tackle unique design problems across the globe.

DESIRED SKILLS:

• a minimum of 2 years of experience
• a degree in landscape design or a related field
• understanding of MASS methodology and ability to apply to project design at high standard
• the ability to maintain flexibility and humility toward the clients and communities we serve
• project design and construction documentation skills and knowledge of construction materials, details, methods and standards
• attention to detail, consistency and completeness & ability to meet deadlines, respond to timely project delivery
• the ability to openly and effectively communicate with team members
• strong visualization skills, and ability to work and design three dimensionally using 3-D programs such as Rhino, V-Ray, Revit a plus
• proficiency in Autocad and Adobe Suite
