Job Description


VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT

CATCHUP Investments Ltd a privately owned Rwandan investment company that recently extend their business to the Manufacturing Sector. The Company produces high quality hygiene products including tissue products such as Toilet Papers, Serviettes, Facial Tissues, Medical Towels, Kitchen Towels, and Pocket Tissues. The factory is the only facility in Rwanda that recycles waste paper to produce good quality and hygienic Toilet papers which is very well known in the Rwandan market under the “Clear” brand. Other products produced by the industry are a wide range of Detergents like Multi-Purpose Liquid Soap, Hand Wash, Glass Cleaner, Dish Wash, as well as bar soap products.

The factory currently employs 170 Rwandans on permanent basis, with the immediate projection to employ 300 next year.

In order to increase our sales, CATCHUP Investments Ltd is looking to recruit one (1) Sales and Marketing Officer in charge of our Corporate Clients and ten (10) Sales Agents who will be responsible for increasing the sales of our product portfolio.

Job Overview

Our Corporate Sales and Marketing Agent is Charged with the sales of our corporate client Category and the Marketing of the Clear Brand.

The Corporate sales and Marketing Agent is responsible for all the internal activities in relation to the execution, follow up and Growth of the corporate clients Category.

This position is directly engaged in our public relations and online presence by developing a strategy, producing good content, analyzing data usage, and facilitating customer service. The Corporate sales and Marketing Agent is responsible for managing advertising projects and campaigns to drive awareness.

This position requires one to be a leader in our Product Innovation Committee.

 Responsibilities and Duties

Represents the company and the contact person for Corporate Client

Develop and submit a performance/Result driven weekly work plan to aid in performance evaluation.

  • Approaching and securing corporate clients to meet the prospect client target.
  • Tracking the availability of key products in our warehouse to service orders.
  • Initiating delivery process through the sales admin and overseeing delivery.
  • Initiate and review sales and marketing contracts with Corporate Clients and Service providers and take the responsibility on the quality of the contracts signed by the company
  • Monitor the performance of Corporate customers and service providers contracts and ensure that their accounts are maintained within contract provisions, including but not limited to revenue recovery ( Receivables and payables)
  • Solely responsible for Corporate Client payables. Ensure Timely payment and compliance to credit allowance provided in individual contracts.
  • To develop and maintain an excellent understanding of the key customers/target audience to ensure that their needs are being met and that their business is retained.
  • Proposing innovative ways to secure more and bigger corporate contracts.
  • Charged with market research on competing products on the market (within the corporate client space)
  • Involvement in the Planning of PR campaigns and strategies.
  • Validating Catchup Investments’ external and internal communication press releases, speeches, newsletters, websites, and social media.
  • Aid in planning, implementing, and monitoring company’s marketing strategy in order to increase brand awareness, improve marketing efforts and increase sales.

Qualifications

  • Education level. Bachelor’s Degree or 2 years’ experience in Sales and Marketing.

Experience is sales and marketing in Fast Moving Products is an added advantage
