Coordinator, Centre for Economic Governance and Leadership (CEGL)
University of Kigali wishes to recruit a Coordinator for the Centre for Economic Governance and Leadership who will be responsible for Identifying consultancy opportunities, organizing workshops for the trainings and building networks with clients for business partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
Capacity Building program development
Sourcing for consultancies and developing value propositions for Capacity building
Sourcing and creating a pool of resource persons to deliver trainings
Organizing workshops for the trainings, including sourcing for venues, trainers and Participant toolkits, designing Training evaluation forms, Participant certificates etc
Developing and maintaining a client database
Identifying consultancy opportunities in Research and surveys
Develop value propositions for conducting research and surveys and pitch them to clients
Prepare value propositions for designing Business Plans and pitch them to clients.
Developing a Business Strategy for CEGL
Creating a client database for potential clients to be targeted
Developing value propositions and marketing them with different clients
Identifying consultancy opportunities posted in adverts and on the various Company/Organization websites
Checking for Tender adverts on various private and public organizations websites and preparing proposals to respond to Request for Proposals (RFP)
Participating in Grant Proposal writing to support other departments assigned to this role
Organizing workshops for Leadership trainings
Candidate needed:
Master degree in project management, Economics, Business administration or relevant field, or any other relevant qualification from a recognized University.
MUST have Minimum of at least five (5) years’ experience in a similar role (preferable in a learning institution) or any other complex organization.
Proven experience creating targeted content is advantageous.
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
Must be able to multitask and work well under pressure.
Excellent organizational and leadership abilities.
Good communication skills particularly, fluent in English.
Ready to work outside normal working hours from time to time.
