Position: Compliance Officer

Reports to: Head of Compliance

Role Overview:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Compliance Officer to support the Head of Compliance in managing day to day compliance operations across multiple markets. This role is critical in ensuring that the company remains compliant with regulatory and licensing obligations, with a particular focus on monitoring tax law changes, managing tax payment processes, and ensuring tax compliance across all jurisdictions.

Key Responsibilities:

Primary Focus – Tax Compliance & Regulatory Monitoring

  • Track and interpret tax regulation changes across all markets.
  • Ensure timely tax payments and filings in accordance with local tax laws.
  • Liaise with finance teams and tax authorities to ensure transparency and accuracy in tax matters.
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation on tax obligations and reports.
  • Monitor regulatory updates and communicate changes to internal stakeholders.

General Compliance Support

  • Monitor and advise on regulatory developments affecting the gaming and entertainment industry.
  • Coordinate with licensing bodies, auditors, and government agencies.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of internal compliance frameworks, including AML, KYC, and Responsible Gaming.
  • Support the rollout and enforcement of compliance policies across departments.
  • Conduct compliance audits and investigations; track resolution of non-compliance issues.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate compliance reports and documentation.
  • Support in delivering internal compliance training and promoting a culture of ethical conduct.
  • Act as a liaison with external stakeholders including regulators, auditors, and legal teams.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Degree in Law, Finance, Business, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of tax systems and regulatory compliance (multi-country experience is a plus).
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a compliance, tax, or regulatory role.
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to interpret legal and regulatory documents.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
