Job Summary

The Chinese Translator will be responsible for providing accurate translation and interpretation between Chinese and English (and/or Kinyarwanda where necessary). The role involves supporting communication with Chinese partners, translating business documents, assisting in negotiations, and ensuring smooth cultural and language exchange within the company.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate written documents, contracts, and reports from Chinese to English/Kinyarwanda and vice versa.

• Provide verbal interpretation during meetings, conferences, and factory operations.

• Assist in communication with Chinese-speaking clients, suppliers, and stakeholders.

• Ensure translated materials maintain the original meaning, tone, and context.

• Support the management team in drafting business correspondence in Chinese.

• Facilitate smooth cultural understanding between local staff and Chinese partners.

Maintain confidentiality of all sensitive company information.
