MAIZE PROCUREMENT COORDINATOR

1. JOB PURPOSE: MINIMEX is looking for an assistant to Quality Assurance and Maize Procurement Coordinator.
2. JOB TITLE: Assistant to Quality Assurance and Maize Procurement Coordinator.

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Ensuring proper maintenance of Food Safety Management System according to ISO 22000
2. Ensuring adherence to HACCP principles according to RS 184
3. Coordinating activities related to ensuring compliance of products to relevant standards.
4. Coordinating researches on New Product Development and milled maize products quality and safety.
5. Any other task assigned by Quality Assurance and Maize Procurement Coordinator.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

1. Proof of working knowledge of ISO 22000:2018 and RS 184:2017 with at least an Advanced Diploma in any science discipline. Experience in food production preferably in grain milling would be an advantage.
2. Ability to conduct a risk analysis for milled maize products.
3. Fluency in both oral and written communication in English.
4. Excellent analytical, writing and communication skills.
5. Ability to work with minimum supervision and meet deadlines.
6. Proactive, courteous, tactful, and ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with people of different professional backgrounds.
7. Ability to handle additional tasks.
8. Being available to start soon.
