ZACU ENTERTAINMENT LTD is the Initiator of ZACUTV which is a Subscription Video on Demand platform which was developed to provide Rwanda content online.

 Zacutv provides a variety of Tv shows, films, documentaries by local producers, and East Africa.

Position:                     Admin and Finance Manager

Reports to:                Managing  Director,Zacu Entertainment ltd

Job Summary: The role of the Director of Administration and Finance is to ensure that the strategic and business objectives are put into practice. The DAF will be responsible overall for the company’s Finances and operations, working alongside the Managing  Director.

Key responsibilities:

  • Summarizes current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports.
  • Oversee the company’s administration, budgeting, reporting, communication at a professional level.
  • Summarizes current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports.
  • Guide and oversee closely all activities related to accounting daily, monthly, quarterly, and yearly.
  • Maintains accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures
  • Manage and monitor the operations budget ensuring the best value in all expenditures.
  • Work with the Managing  Director to analyze and present financial reports in an accurate and timely manner; clearly communicate monthly and annual financial statements,
  • Oversee effective systems for project administration and operations, including contracts, grants, subcontracts, procurement, and compliance.
  • Prepare fiscal documents as and when required
  • Prepare annual audit

Necessary Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Fluent in English and Kinyarwanda (excellent writing and oral skills)
  • Demonstrated knowledge, skills, excellence in accounting, financial management, human resources, procurement, and other management support functions as needed
  • Strong interpersonal skills for working with staff, partners, and beneficiaries
  • Familiar with Accounting Software like QuickBooks or sage.

Credentials and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, accounting, or related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in administrative and financial management
