RSB is a growing company with reach in different sectors such restaurant, trading and fashion design. They are looking for a proactive, skilled accountant to join their team operating at their Kimihurura Soy Asian Table Restaurant. The accountant will essentially be the restaurant’s key person in accounting duties, however, he or she will also take on an advisory role regarding other related accounting aspects of the company. 

Job Duties

• Manage the incoming and outgoing invoices – correctly capture and take corrective actions in case of incorrect issuing of ebm’s on the supplier invoices and our own ebm’s going out
  
• Review and manage bank transactions
  
• Submit to GM on a monthly basis 12M cash flow projections
  
• Submit to GM on a monthly basis Cash Flow and P&L report with the detailed cost and cash flow analysis, highlighting significant trends/points requiring attention, providing with the advice for optimization
  
• Submit to GM on a monthly basis 12M P&L projections
  
• Quarterly review of the actual P&L/Cash Flow against planned, highlighting deviation and providing relevant advice
  
• Prepare payroll and respective tax declarations
  
• Prepare tax assessments for local cleaning taxes, patente, property taxes, etc. and submit/pay accordingly
  
• Review and handle import declarations with Fracht Rwanda – making sure that exit notes are obtained and accepted in RRA system
  
• Making sure that EBM is up to date, fully paid for transmission and avoid claims from clients
  
• Making sure that all contracts with suppliers, clients and the staff are correct and up to date
  
• Review the commercial terms and conditions with existing and new suppliers, collect relevant market data and provide to GM qualified input for further negotiation
  
• Weekly / Monthly / Quarterly / Yearly review of the financial transactions and reporting in coordination with the external accountant / auditor (which we will phase out on the first leg – remaining with auditor function)

Requirements

Job Requirements 

• Achieve CPA 2021
  
• Proficiency in Microsoft and Excel
  
• Quickbooks knowledge as a must
  
• Over 3 years of work experience 
  
• Educational background in accounting
