Introduction
Inades-Formation Rwanda is a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) under Rwandan law. It belongs to a pan-African network, Inades-Formation, which is currently established in ten countries: Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cameroon, Congo (DRC), Ivory Coast, Kenya, Rwanda, Tanzania, Chad, Togo. Inades-Formation is the common name for “African Institute for Economic and Social Development – African Training Center”. Inades-Formation Rwanda was created in 1976. It obtained legal personality by Ministerial Order No. 119 of August 22, 1977, revised by Ministerial Order No. 75/11 of April 18, 2006. Since May 29, 2013 , Inades- Formation Rwanda is officially recognized as a national NGO in accordance with Law No. 04/2012 of 02/17/2012 governing the creation and operation of NGOs in Rwanda and has received official approval from the Rwanda Governance Board (RGB) .

As for its mission, it is to work for the social and economic promotion of populations, giving particular importance to their free and responsible participation in the transformation of their societies .
Inades-Formation Rwanda wants to recruit an Accountant who will work full time to take care of the accounting aspects of the projects executed by the organization. He will ensure the processing of accounting operations according to the general principles of accounting and the accounting procedures manual. He must also follow the policies, procedures and regulations of the Inades-Formation network.
- Job position: Accountant
- Place of work: Siege of Inades-Formation Rwanda in Gasabo District, Remera Sector, Cellule Rukiri II, Village Amahoro.
- Duration of contract: 1 year renewable.
- Functions and responsibilities:
Accountant’s Main Duties and Responsibilities:
As an accountant, the employee will be responsible for the following main tasks and responsibilities:
- Classify, order and archive supporting documents;
- Enter accounting documents daily without delay into the SAGE 100 accounting software;
- Ensure the maintenance of appropriate accounting documentation, in electronic, printed and physical form, in accordance with filing systems;
- Ensure that all supporting documents are received in a timely manner and all comply in form and substance with donor requirements;
- Monitor the various operations of the project bank accounts;
- Prepare monthly bank reconciliation statements for project accounts;
- Assist the chief accountant in preparing the documents necessary to make payments;
- In collaboration with the Chief Accountant, facilitate the availability and accessibility of documentation and provide information during audits;
- In collaboration with the Chief Accountant, contribute to regular budgetary monitoring of projects;
- Actively contribute to pre- and post-audit preparation work;
- Assist auditors during their audit missions;
- Contribute to the implementation of recommendations from internal and external auditors;
- In collaboration with the Chief Accountant, contribute to the development of various periodic or one-off financial reports as necessary to be transmitted to partners;
- Assume other tasks within the framework of their functions and skills at the request of their hierarchical superiors.
- Conditions and qualifications required:
- Be of Rwandan nationality;
- Be the holder of an A0 level university diploma in Accounting;
- Having completed professional accounting studies – CPA, CIFA, CAT, or being in the process of pursuing professional courses at the advanced level, would be an asset.
- Have professional experience of at least 3 years in accounting for non-governmental organizations;
- Have mastery of accounting software. Knowledge of Sage 100 and Sage Pay is an advantage;
- Master computer tools (MS Word, MS Excel, Power Point, etc.);
- Master written and spoken French, knowledge of English being an advantage;
- Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
- Applications from women are more encouraged.

- Have a minimum age of 25 and maximum of 35 years.
- Working conditions
The accountant will work on the basis of a fixed-term contract (1 year renewable).

- A photocopy of the identity card.
