About the Young Professionals Program

One Acre Fund’s Young Professionals Program offers high-performing African graduates meaningful internships and training opportunities at a high-performing, mission-driven organization. About the Role

As an Accounts Payables Admin Intern, you’ll ensure timely and accurate payment processing by maintaining vendor records and banking documentation, supporting smooth financial operations. You will be a part of Global payments team in the Finance department and will report directly to Payments Administrator .This role is based in Kigali, Rwanda and is onsite.

Responsibilities

  • Process payments, maintain vendor records, and organize supporting documents.
  • Assist with banking and compliance processes, including account management and KYC assessments.
  • Contribute to team operations by supporting accounts payable and administrative tasks.

Qualifications

Across all roles, these are the general qualifications we look for. For this role specifically, you will have:

  • Experience in finance, accounting, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Excel and Google Workspace tools.
  • Understanding of financial systems and payment platforms.
  • Knowledge of banking and compliance
  • Fluent in English;
  • Experience with vendor record management is great to have

Benefits

Interns will be provided with a reasonable stipend for the duration of their contract. Rural area based fellows will be provided assistance in locating suitable housing.
